COVANANT UNIVERSITY
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

(i) Credit passes in the Senior Secondary School (S.S.S) Certificate, or its equivalent in relevant subject areas in addition to acceptable pass in the Joint Matriculation Examination, are the qualifications for admission into the four (4) year degree programmes of Covenant University.

(ii) Direct Entry Applicants: Any one of the following qualifications is admissible:
(a) A pass at merit level in a relevant Diploma Programme (provided the University English and Mathematics requirements have been satisfied). (b) Two passes in relevant subject areas at advanced level with SC/GCE 'O' level credit passes in three other subjects at not more than two sittings. OR Three passes in relevant subject areas at advanced level with SC/GCE 'O' level credit passes in three other subjects at not more than two sittings.

(iii) (a) Passes in two major subjects in relevant areas in the NCE with GCE 'O'level credits or its equivalent in three other subjects. Education is acceptable as third 'A' level subject for those taking courses in Education. (b) B.ED (Technology): For this programme, holders of NCE, City and Guilds as well as OND certificates, may be admitted provided they posses acceptable qualifications in relevant subjects at the Senior School Certificate Examination.

(iv) English Language Requirements In all cases, whether by Direct Entry or UME, credit pass in Mathematics and English Language at the Senior School Certificate or equivalent are required for all courses in Covenant University.


UNIVERSITIES OF AGRICULTURE
Holders of the following qualifications may be considered for Direct Entry (D/E):- OND/HND/NCE (Credit/Merit) in Agriculture, Agricul tural Science, Forestry, Fisheries, Home Economics, Food Science and Technology and Wildlife with at least four (4) WASC/GCE O/Level SSC/NTC/NBC credit passes in Biology or Agricultural Science, Chemistry and any two (2) of the following subjects:- Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Geography and Economics. Candidates with a credit pass in only one of Mathematics and Physics must have a pass in other. At least a pass is required in English Language.


FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, AKURE
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
(a) Accepts a minimum of credit pass in English language at 'o' level in all courses.
(b) Accepts a minimum of pass at upper credit level of national diploma for direct entry candidates from NBTE accredited institutions.
(c) Advanced 'A' level candidates must have at least 6 points

(d) All courses require at least a pass in physics and credit in Mathematics.
(e) Foreign students with their results in another language should have their results confirmed by their departments.
